Website Accessibility
We try to pay the utmost attention to accessibility and therefore to the way we build our pages. However, some alternative texts describing an image or a link may be missing. If you discover any, please let us know by writing to saea-tlss@uOttawa.ca.
We’re excited to announce that the University of Ottawa Library has recently acquired a site license for Read&Write software, which is now available to all current uOttawa students, staff, and faculty! In addition, users have access to OrbitNote, a powerful tool for digital annotation.
Accessibility Options on TLSS website
Our website offers a tool that allows you to set certain accessibility options without having to install specialized tools. These options are, of course, less powerful than specific applications, but can help you navigate our website if you're viewing it, for example, on a public computer, or if you have a temporary special need.
To access them, please click on the accessibility icon at the bottom left of the screen.
You will then have access to the accessibility options (click on a red circle to see what the different icons do):

Here's a list of settings you can manipulate to increase the readability of our website according to your needs. Some buttons can be clicked once (left mouse button) and others several times, such as the one for increasing text size.
