Edmond Zahedi

Edmond Zahedi (Dip. Ing., PhD, SMIEEE), is a senior curriculum and learning outcomes analyst who works at the Office of the Vice Provost, Academic Affairs. Working with the University of Ottawa’s Teaching and Learning Support Service (TLSS) and the Program Evaluation Office, he provides assistance for the creation of new programs and micro-programs, the modification of existing programs, and the evaluation of programs in the framework of the cyclical evaluation of programs mandated by the Ontario Universities Council on Quality Assurance (OUCQA).

With over 25 years of experience in higher education and accreditation processes and as a former professor and researcher in electrical engineering in Canada and overseas, Edmond knows all too well the concerns and priorities of fellow academics. This is why he is so passionate about finding innovative, high-impact educational models, while contributing to the development of best practices involving emerging technological platforms.

Edmond is an active contributor to eCampus Ontario initiatives and member of the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE).

His objective: to perfectly align curricula with the present and future demands of the society, so that life-long learner graduates do always remain happy citizens of this world!
