Training
The Teaching and learning support service (TLSS) team will be responsible for pedagogical activities and training courses offered at the INNOVA space.
TLSS offers free training and professional development activities for all University of Ottawa faculty members. Workshops cover various topics related to post-secondary education, such as university pedagogy, course design, teaching technologies, the use of audiovisual equipment in the classroom, and more.
In face-to-face, distance or hybrid mode, these workshops can take the form of workshops, webinars, round tables, colloques or conferences, and the organization of DesignOthon, for example. Numerous support resources (tutorials, guides, videos, etc.) are also produced to support the workshops.
As part of the INNOVA initiative, particular emphasis will be placed on immersive technologies (AR, VR, MR, etc.), virtual simulation activities, holographic technologies, immersive learning environments, adaptive learning, and other interactive technologies supported by artificial intelligence.
