Explore Educational Technologies with eCampusOntario
We are pleased to welcome the eCampusOntario team to the University of Ottawa for a hands-on workshop on educational technologies.
This interactive two-hour workshop will allow you to discover and test four innovative tools to enhance your courses: Gamma, Napkin, NotebookLM, and H5P Studio.
Workshop Learning Objectives
- Explore educational technologies to discover how they can support teaching, learning, and student engagement.
- Design and produce at least two instructional resources (e.g., infographics, presentations, learning aids, etc.) to address a specific instructional challenge in a course.
- Collaborate in small groups to test, iterate, and refine digital learning artifacts, demonstrating an ability to integrate emerging technologies into authentic teaching scenarios.
- Reflect on the potential of educational technologies and eCampusOntario’s professional development programs to improve teaching and technology practices as well as the student learning experience.
Why Participate?
- Tangible outcomes: Create two ready-to-use teaching resources you can implement immediately in your course.
- Professional recognition: Earn the digital badge "Experimenter" your first step toward the micro-credential in the Empowered Educator program.
- Before you attend: We invite you to prepare by identifying a complex concept or process from your course that you would like to simplify using these tools.
