Partners

A number of partners working in French-language education in a minority setting have been associated with the INNOVA in 2021 initiative since the project was submitted to Canadian Heritage.

Numerous partners

The INNOVA space will also benefit from the expertise of teacher-researchers from the University of Ottawa's Official Languages and Bilingualism Institute (OLBI), a world-renowned institute for its work on official languages and post-secondary French immersion programs. The Centre Franco (CFORP), an organization administered by Ontario's 12 French-language school boards, has already indicated its interest in participating in Innova's activities. The Fédération nationale des conseils scolaires francophones (FNCSF) and the Association des collèges et universités de la francophonie canadienne (ACUFC) have also officially endorsed the initiative and confirmed their commitment.

We have also sought the collaboration of the Consortium d'apprentissage virtuel de langue française de l'Ontario (CAVLFO), and the Canada School of Public Service, which respectively offer French-language online education and training services in Ontario and nationally. Finally, the INNOVA space will also benefit from the support and expertise of the TFO Media Group (GMTFO), which for nearly 40 years has played a major role in the development of French-language education in Ontario and Canada, and in particular its Virtual Universe Laboratory (LUV) working on the development of techno-pedagogical innovations and immersive learning.

INNOVA will therefore be an important meeting place for these organizations and those from other provinces in the school, postsecondary and professional sectors, to ensure quality French-language education in minority language settings across Canada.
