Biography
Alain Erdmer, our previous Director-General, has retired. Professor St-Amant will serve as acting Director-General.
Alain St-Amant is currently Vice-Provost, Academic Affairs and has been a professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biomolecular Sciences since 1993. He has also held a number of administrative leadership roles within the Faculty of Science, including Chair of the Department of Chemistry and Biomolecular Sciences from 2003 to 2009, and Vice-Dean of Undergraduate Studies and Student Experience from 2009 to 2022. Between 2022 and 2023, he was co-director of uOsatisfACTION.
The Director-General role works within the guidance and overall strategic leadership of the Vice-Provost of Academic Affairs.
