The TLSS Director is responsible for developing and implementing the vision, strategy and main channels of teaching and learning support services offered to University of Ottawa professors and students.

Biography
Pascal Wickert is the Interim Director of the Teaching and Learning Support Service (TLSS) at the University of Ottawa. With more than twenty years of experience within the institution, he possesses in-depth expertise in university pedagogy, learning technologies, and digital transformation of teaching.
Throughout his career, Pascal Wickert has led transformative initiatives in online and hybrid teaching, contributed to the modernization of pedagogical support services, and actively participated in various institutional committees related to pedagogical innovation and digital learning.
Within TLSS, he is responsible for strategic planning, operations and communications, as well as governance of institutional learning technologies. He supervises a multidisciplinary team composed of pedagogical specialists and course design professionals, who support faculty members in the development of hybrid, online, or digitally integrated courses. He collaborates closely with faculties, information technology, procurement, and many other university partners to ensure the implementation of sustainable, accessible solutions aligned with institutional priorities.
The Director role works within the guidance and overall strategic leadership of the Vice-Provost of Academic Affairs.
