Building on the success of last year’s Generative AI Symposium, AI Literacy Days 2026 expands beyond discussion and places greater emphasis on practical application, supporting educators and leaders in integrating AI thoughtfully into their academic and institutional work. Join us for this two-day event focused on strengthening AI understanding and responsible adoption across our academic community.

Microsoft Learn for Educators – Generative AI for Teaching Bootcamp
Target Audience: Instructors looking to build confidence and capacity in AI instruction.
This hands-on experience is focused on Copilot, AI-enhanced teaching workflows, and preparing students with future-ready skills. Through this instructor-led session, participants will explore how AI and Microsoft tools can enhance educational outcomes and streamline faculty workloads.
- What to expect: Practical knowledge of Prompt Engineering, Copilot Creations, and upcoming AI features to make learning more interactive and efficient.
Session on April 1st – 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Microsoft Copilot Prompt-a-thon
Target Audience: Administrators, Deans, Provosts, Students, and Educational Leadership Teams. An immersive session addressing responsible AI use, practical prompting strategies, and leadership considerations for scaling adoption within academic settings. By demystifying AI, participants can confidently implement these technologies to drive modernization across the University.
- What to expect: A deep dive into global trends, responsible AI, and the "Art of Prompting" through hands-on challenges.
Lunch & Networking: 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. (both days).
